Electricity assassin draws attention
The topic of "electricity assassin" has sparked widespread attention to the electricity consumption of air conditioning, especially the electricity expenses of air conditioning in high temperature weather. According to data provided by Guangdong Power Grid, the power consumption of air conditioning under the same conditions is much higher than that of DC fan lights, causing users' electricity anxiety. On June 30th, Guangdong Power Grid officially released a comparative data: in the same 20 square meter bedroom, the 26 ℃ air conditioner consumes 6.4 kWh of electricity after 8 hours of use, while the DC fan light in the same gear only costs 0.72 kWh, with a price difference of 7 times between the two. This discovery has attracted widespread attention. Some netizens pointed out that after the implementation of the new regulations in July, the third tier of tiered electricity prices rose to 0.98 yuan per kilowatt hour, lamenting that "turning on the air conditioning for one night is equivalent to burning a cup of Heytea". Inspired by this, I immediately decided to turn off the old-fashioned air conditioning in my home and instead purchased fan lights.
